There is a great section on the MSNBC site about Potter, specifically some exclusive interviews with JK Rowling where she gives a lot more insight and information (about what Harry, Ron and Hermione are doing, for example). She also clears up some points people seem to be confused about (like who actually controlled the Elder Wand). She also mentions that if she could go back and rewrite anything it would be to edit Order of the Phoenix, which I’ve always said was too long and dark and felt like they hadn’t edited enough.

There is discussion, and pretty much confirmation, that there will be a Harry Potter Encyclopaedia, partly so she can put a lot of the facts she has constructed behind the scenes to use. Rumour has it she will donate the proceeds to charity.
