Wordnik has a nice little post which covers some of the clever wordplay, especially in the names, of the Harry Potter books, for example: A dumbledore is a bumblebee. I have to say I really like the covers for a ‘Criterion Collection’ version of the Potter movies by Patrick Sullivan. They’re all good, but I think my favourite is the one for Prisoner of Azkaban:
The build-up to the final film is starting to gain momentum and the latest footage has some new, a lot of looking back over the existing films and, as a bonus, the first test screening between the actors who would become Harry, Ron and Hermione.
So the first trailer for Deathly Hallows Part 2 has now been released. It looks good, it seems to focus on the battle of Hogwarts far more than the book (maybe the film does) and the slightly worrying thing is there are some moments in the trailer which aren’t in the book. I just hope [...]
